Bushan, who has over 23 years of experience in the software industries, most of which were in early start-ups, is advising Tuebora's management on operational issues and as a domain expert in Identity and Acces Management.
Bushan as a co-founder of Aveksa (acquired by EMC/RSA), started the Indian subsidiary of Aveksa in 2004. He built the engineering team that architected and delivered the initial versions of the Aveksa Access Governance platform. He is a co-author of the patented collector architecture that is central to the Aveksa solutions. Bushan subsequently expanded the operations in the APAC region to include services, support, partnerships and pre-sales.
Prior to Aveksa, Bushan made significant contributions through technical and engineering management at successful start-ups that include Powersoft (acquired by Sybase), Allaire (acquired by Macromedia/Adobe), and at Imprivata where he has also co-authored two patents on the core architecture.
Bushan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India and a Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management from Katholieke University in Leuven, Belgium.
Michael is a technologist, startup advisor and angel investor. He brings 20 years of experience of high technology startups. Most recently he co-founded and ran Citrix Startup Accelerator investing in and advising early stage startups across enterprise computing, machine intelligence and other infrastructure software. Today his interests include emerging approaches to machine intelligence, enterprise computing and robotics; as well as advising on best practices for startup-oriented open innovation. Michael has a PhD in machine learning and AI, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Michael is advising Tuebora on strategy, big data and machine learning technology directions.
Prabhakar, a seasoned technology executive, has been mentoring Tuebora from day one in many areas.
Prabhakar is co-founder, President and COO of Tyfone, Inc. At Tyfone, Prabhakar is responsible for all product and business development aspects in Asia-Pacific and is responsible for developing the strategic plans for the company.
Prabhakar, previously was Founder, CEO of Finatus, Inc, a venture-backed, web-application outsourcing company and was responsible for all the strategic and business management aspects of the company. Prior to founding the company, he was responsible for Strategic Planning at Intel Online Services, and also was part of the Intel Architecture Business Group's (Reseller Products Division) Small Business Services/Business Development team.
Prabhakar received his MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BE from Bharathiyar University in India. Prabhakar is located in Bangalore, India.
Ravi Gururaj is Chairman & Co-Founder of Frictionless Ventures where he is building and investing in innovative software products primarily in the cloud, mobile, and big data segments. Over his 25-year career, Ravi has promoted an STPI unit exporting software components out of India, held product roles at Intel, served as Managing Director of the Trilogy Software GIC, and founded multiple successful software product ventures.
VMLogix, which he founded in 2004 was funded by Bain Capital Ventures and acquired by Citrix in 2010. At Citrix, Ravi served as Vice President Products in the Cloud Platforms group, was a member of the global Citrix CTO Office, represented the Citrix Startup Accelerator and was on the India R&D leadership team. Ravi is Charter Member of TiE Bangalore where he launched the Cloud SIG and is Co-Founder & Co-Chair of HBS Alumni Angels India chapter.
Ravi received his MBA with high distinction as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School. He graduated with honors as Benjamin Franklin Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania in the Management and Technology (M&T) program, receiving a B.S.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Moore School and a B.Sc. in Finance from the Wharton School. He was also a research scholar at the University of Edinburgh and schooled at La Martiniere for Boys in Kolkata.
